JOKAI MARINE INTERNATIONAL, INC. (JMII) is a domestic corporation created and existing under the domestic laws of the Republic of the Philippines with principal place of business at Room 406 4F Sugbutel Building, S. Osmeña Ave., NRA, Cebu City 6000. The company was established in the year 2012 with Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration number CS201231756 and BIR registration number 427-260-377-000.

 

Its primary purpose is to purchase and or to own vessel or vessels, conduct and operate a business of tourism transport by chartering and leasing out to tourist for island hopping purposes.

 

The company has been registered at the Maritime Industry Authority and has been granted a Certificate of Public Convenience to operate as a domestic shipping company in the Philippine waters.

 

The company accepts individual and corporate clients, whether local and international clients. It can arrange trips tailored to the needs of each client.

HISTORY

JOKAI MARINE INTERNATIONAL, INC. was established September 18, 2012. The company started with a 72-foot trimaran yacht called M/S Vianelle, previously owned by Admiral Matias Aznar III.

 

In February year 2013, Jokai Marine International partnered with Evercat Asia Inc., a ship building company also based in Mactan, Cebu. As both companies are on the shipping business, the board of Jokai Marine and Evercat have decided that this is for the mutual benefit of both companies.

 

November of 2014, Jokai Marine officially launched its 2nd yacht, a catamaran called P/Y Jokai I. The first ever party-yacht with Sky Deck in the Philippines.

 

The Board of Jokai Marine strategically decided to sell its first yacht, M/S Vianelle for the purpose of introducing, promoting and rebranding the newest style of yachting to the market on board the pleasure yacht, Jokai I.

 

Since then, Jokai Marine has garnered a huge database of clients from private person to Corporate companies, to Travel agents and many more. The company has also been known as the only yacht charter company with full accreditation from MARINA in Cebu.

Jokai Marine now caters sunset cruises, island hopping, photo shoot, intimate wedding reception, birthday parties, company parties, and many others. Currently, the company is accredited by Maritime Industry Authority, Philippine Register of Shipping and Department of Tourism.
